Ty Gweddi Church
The Cross Keys Ty Gweddi Church Vision
1 Corinthians 12:12-27 (New International Reader's Version) - One Body but Many Parts
12 There is one body, but it has many parts. But all its many parts make up one body. It is the same with Christ. 13 We were all baptized by one Holy Spirit. And so we are formed into one body. It didn’t matter whether we were Jews or Gentiles, slaves or free people. We were all given the same Spirit to drink. 14 So the body is not made up of just one part. It has many parts.
27 You are the body of Christ. Each one of you is a part of it.
Everyone matters in God s Church and everyone has a part to play that reflects their age, experience spiritual gifting and passions.
Based on Francis Chan’s ‘We Are Church’ model The Cross Keys anticipates establishing a network of Churches who meet in people s home. These Churches will be led by leaders who are accountable to each other, the Church members, the other leaders and the Directors.
The Churches will expect every member to contribute as we study the Bible consecutively – sharing who they are and their unique spiritual gifting to build others up and glorify God.
As the network grows people will have opportunity to meet with other members of the Ty Gweddi Church network through volunteering to pray and serve in The Cross Keys Community Hub
Current Ty Gweddi Church
At the moment there is one Ty Gweddi Church that meets in The Cross Keys and this is led by Darren and Shan Mayor. Every meeting is open to others except for REFLECT which is for those seeing The Cross Keys as their Home Church and it is a time of personal sharing, worshipping praying and planning for the next season of the Church Community.
