Update on The Cross Keys Sensory Garden 26th April 2023

So Far - 

To date we have been able to raise over £5,000 through Crowdfunding. Thank you so much for all that you have been able to give no matter how small or large. Thank you 

Today I have received confirmation that we have also been granted a £12,500 grant from The levelling Up fund from the Westminster Govt through Powys County Council. This grant was always part of the overall funding strategy for the Garden project and we are so thankful for this large injection of funding. 

We are nearing our overall target and can now start the building of the gazebos, fences, raised beds, Water feature, paving and Yurt. We have targeted the 2nd, 3rd and 4th weekends in May starting on the Thursday to begin this work. If you are free to get involved with other volunteers please contact Darren on 07891 592710

As more funds become available through the crowdfunding additional items will be added.

Aviva Community Fund is providing live match funding. This means that every £ you donate to this project through the Crowd Funder link below, (up to £250) will be matched by the Aviva Community Fund. The Cross Keys Community Edible Sensory Garden will be a benefit to all people who use the Crosskeys and it will also add value to the tourism offer in the area.
