What Is a CIC?

A Community Interest Company (CIC) is a form of Social Enterprise in the United Kingdom intended "for people wishing to establish businesses which trade with a social purpose..., or to carry on other activities for the benefit of the community"

The Cross Keys is a CIC.

As a CIC those who wish to become members can apply to the Directors to be considered for membership if they are in agreement with the CIC Objectives as laid down in the Articles of Association.
